This World We Live In Susan Beth Pfeffer

Without a thought of asking why. What are some of the top comments when a Redditor who happens to be a man puts up a picture post about quitting heroin? It does not mean that we are to leave this present world as it is. We have to make the most of what we have don't pine for what is not. Over the last 2 1/2 years I've worked with both the Young Single Adults in my stake and the YM in my ward. This means that a continual looking forward to the eternal world is not a form of escapism or wishful thinking, but one of the things a Christian is meant to do. This world we live in is all we've got. The World We Live In is a beautiful series by Vienna-based photographer Daniel Gebhart de Koekkoek. *tear* But, I think, maybe that was the point. Its purpose is to inspire and motivate people to practice random acts of kindness, generosity and volunteering into their everyday lives to help shape the world we live in together. Gebhart shows us nature, friendship, adventure and solitude. The characters I grew to love in books 1 & 2 now seemed like total strangers. With my new calling, I have responsibility over Young. Don't idly sit and stare as each new day goes rushing by. But, I didn't find a HEA in This World We Live In. And by all means this is no easy task. I recognize that we live in a flawed world, one that's out of balance and imperfect; but that only helps me understand the context for tragedy. The work seems to be after the small moments.
